Live results: 8/30/2013 Arena Mexico show

I know, it’s Friday night, not Sunday… but Sunday has been cancelled… and besides, Friday is the biggest show of the week… two weeks out from the 80th anniversary show… Inbetween the 3rd and 4th matches, a promo aired on the video wall for the aniversary main event, which showed Ultimo and Gran Guerrero together… makes you wonder if they’d pull the switch in a screwjob…

Fall #3: Rush killed Negro Casas with a dropkick in the corner, then hit a plancha on Volador Jr.. Marco Corleone pinned Negro Casas and Maximo pinned Felino to win it.

9. CMLL Universal Tourament Semifinals: Hiroshi Tanahashi def. Dragon Rojo Jr.

One fall: Hiroshi Tanahashi does not like hats. Taichi also doesn’t like Dragon Rojo Jr.’s conditioning, so maybe there is a pattern. 2. Amapola (captain), Princesa Blanca & La Seductora def. Marcela (captain), Goya Kong & (sigh) Dalis la Caribena

sigh.. Dalis… maybe she’ll fall off the ramp when she comes out…
